The Story

The King Seiko KSK SJE107 reinterprets the brand's technically innovative 1965 KSK design with a dial that pays tribute to traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e art from the Edo period. The light purple gradient dial, titled "Tenjin Fuji Violet," features an embossed wisteria flower pattern inspired by the famous blooms at the Tenjin Shrine in Kameido, the birthplace of King Seiko. The 38.6mm stainless steel case has a slim 10.7mm thickness, a 45.8mm lug-to-lug span, and combines mirror and hairline finishing characteristic of the original. Sharply delineated case edges, diamond-cut hands, meticulously cut dimensional indices, and a separately carved 12 o'clock marker reflect the original's refined detail. A box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface protects the dial. Powered by the in-house Caliber 6L35 automatic movement with manual winding, 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, and approximately 45 hours of power reserve. Date display at 3 o'clock, push-pull crown, and screwed solid steel caseback with the King Seiko emblem. Water resistant to 50 meters.
